How do I hold gas tanks off a Fatboy??

Hello, I have the gas tanks and fenders off a 1995 Harley Davison Fatboy and I have been racking my brain on how to hold the gas tanks. If anyone knows of a good way to hold the gas tanks I would apprieciate it if you let me know how. Thanks a ton!

get you a 2 x 4 and place a bolt in one end where the tank bolts down.... two pieces of short 3/4 pipe to fit the ears under the tank and two lag bolts, and two 3/4 washers .... use the washers to make end caps on the pipe and screw the lag bolts through the pipe be sure you have clearance.....will work really good i have one i use then i use some wire from both ends of the 2 x 4 and hang it from a hook on the ceiling. be sure your 2 x 4 is long enough to allow the wire to never touch....Good luck
