How long after you spray you flames should you wait until you remove you tape?

Should you do it when the paint is still wet or when it dries??

Thanks

I like to do it as soon as possible. The wetter the paint is the less of a sharp edge you'll get but you have to be extra careful the wetter it is.Flames are hard to to this way,but if I'm 2 toning a car or something simple the tape on the edge is the last piece I lay. When I set my gun down after the last coat I go over and pull that piece so the edge will lay down some. The clear doesn't seem to want to slide as easy compared to a sharp edge either.

BE CAREFUL IF YOUR PAINT HAS BEEN PUT ON HEAVY ON THE TAPED EDGES BECAUSE IF THE PAINT IS STILL A LITTLE TOO WET THE TAPE MAY LIFT OFF BUT THE PAINT WILL STAY STUCK TO THE FLAME AND SIT BACK DOWN OVER THE EDGE WHERE THE TAPE WAS.
WHEN EVER I DO A 2 TONE BASECOAT I LOOK CAREFULLY OVER THE PAINT JOB AND MAKE SURE THERE IS NO HEAVY BUILD UP ON THE TAPED EDGE.IF THERE IS I LIKE TO WAIT UNTILL IT IS QUITE DRY AND THEN DEMASK IT
