How long do you have to wait after spraying the basecoat before you can start taping your flames? I'm using Nason's Ful-Base urethane as my basecoat.

Not shure but it sounds like the label is like everyone else now, very minimal info and you're screwed without a P bulletin. Most bases say 30-45 minutes to tape and have an open recoat window of around 24 hours.I like to wait 60-90 minutes to tape and wqant clear on it in 12 hours or so tops. Our temps in FL are higher than the 70 degree base the paint companies use,so of course the times get a little shorter.

I DONT KNOW THE NASON BRAND ,BUT DOES THE WORD URETHANE ON THE LABEL MEAN IT IS 2PACK?
DOES IT REQUIRE A HARDENER/CATALYST?
IF SO THEN IT WILL NEED TO DRY THOROUGHLY 16 HOURS OVER NIGHT AT ROOM TEMP THEN TAPE IT AND SAND IT INSIDE THE FLAMES THEN CLEARCOAT IT.
IF IT IS JUST A NORMAL BASECOAT THEN LIKE REX SAYS 60/90 MINUTES.

The Ful-Base appears to be a catalyzed enamal. Kind of confusing with the word "base" in it.
I found a little bit of info on it here.
If it is an enamel, you definately need to let it sit overnight before doing anything.

Disreguard my post for sure.I see I can't get info on it so I'm leary to say anything. The jobber you got it from should have P bulletins on it and should run a copy off to you,or at least let you see it and copy down the info.
