i want to achieve a look similar to this

can that flat paint look be acvieved using clears?

I want something that wont chip, scratch or mark easy so was figuring i would need to use a base coat/clear coat solution, but clears always seem to make paint shiny.

what are my option to achieve the "matt/flat" type look that will last?

PPG has a flat clear that can be mixed with regular clear to get varying degrees of semigloss,I would think the other paintlines would have the same.You can add flatner to the clear but the durability goes to the crapper.I was told the premixed was more durable but haven't proved it to myself yet.

JohnDeer makes a matt black that is used in their farm equiptment. gives a real nice matt/ suade look
