My husband is puting flames on our motorhome front and upper back. He is not happy with how they look, the actual drawing. Any suggestion on where I can look to learn to draw flames? Anyone have any pictures of flames on a large vehicle so he can get an idea of placement. He is doing a candy 3 different colors, grey, blue, and burgandy to match the design on the side.
Thanks in advance for the info.

How's this for ideas?

You can adapt flames to many shapes of vehicles. The bigger the vehicle, the bigger the flames need to be to look right.

Good luck.

Daisy Bee, I don't know how everyone else might do this, but when my wife wants to paint something on a wall she draws the picture then copies it to transparent, she then uses a projector, like the kind they have a school and moves it until she can see the pattern on the wall. Then she uses the the illuminated area to draw her picture. The room needs to be dark so you can see the projection clearly.

Good Luck

I am not one of those people that are gifted artists so I have to refine my flames also. What I have done before is tape paper over the area I want to flame and them start to draw and redraw until I achieve what I want. When I do, I cut the flames out and retape them on and then fineline tape them out. I buy these rolls at walmart that are 36 inches wide and maybe 20 feet long.
Just a thought.

I found that picture on the web in a gallery of photo's that were authorized for download, but I tried to find it again and couldn't. I thought I searched "Motorhome Flame paint", but I haven't been able to locate the site again. Sorry.

I have the opposite question, what about putting flames on something small , the area is only about 4 inches by 4 inches by 25 inches with several areas cut out. I would like to have lots of flames moving into these areas but I have no idea where to begin designing.
