How to paint under-body of a car

My friend told me that he want to paint under-body of his car and it seemed odd to me at first because I have never heard of it done before, but now I think it’s a nice idea to preserve the under-body and help to prevent rusting. Can anyone point him in right direction and suggest some easy ways and tools he needs to perform this task.


Any tips and suggestions are welcome.

Is your friend doing a restoration job? Is the car disassembled, or is he painting the bottom with the car all together?
