I need to know if anyone has ever cleared with ice pearls, done two to three coats without seperate coats of clear and had any
trouble with it after wetsanding.
Was there any streaking and if there was- how did you deal with it?
thanks- need to know soon.

Oooh ICE Pearls...hmmm

I've used a few of the colors over base in a clear and didn't have a streaking issue, but wanted to comment that you should add another few coats of regular clear over the clear with the pearl in it. That way when you wetsand you don't sand into any of the particals. Also don't pour the clear on when Ice Pearl is added 'cause runs and sags stick out like a soar thumb and look real ugly.

Explain or describe your streaking problem. Heavy build up in some areas and thin in the other?

Thanks for the reply. Had no streaking problem. Just wanted to know of anyone else's experience with pearls of that nature. Its pretty wicked stuff
I applied in candy and clearcoat. It was beautiful. Thanks for the information.

Bornhard is right i use pearls everyday with my job. mix the pearl with Dupont 150 then shoot it then clear it. I've seen what can happen when you mix it in the clear. The main problem i have saw is this. When they sanded then buffed it the buffer kind of leaves it looking offset some spots even appear to look burned if you use metal flake instead of pearl.
