chrome
I have looked into the cosmichrome system and it's not cheap to get into it.
like about 8 grand. A little pricey in my opinion. Some of the indy car drivers have had their helmets done in it. Paul Tracey for example. Again not cheap.I'm saying there is anything wrong with this process, except your going to pay big time. Maybe ok for a production shop and thats fine. As far as using the chrome paint from Innate I've never had a problem with it. Don't know where you got the idea it will chip off in a month or two. I've done wheels with it 3 years ago that still look like new. Again no matter what processis being done prep is the key to it all. The chrome by Innate is still very popular and many people are using it, just because it works. True it's a time consuming process but if done correctly it does look like chrome, and there are many effects that can be done with it. And yes there is a product by another company that is out there that many painters have had trouble with it. Don't get me wrong I'm not slamming cosmichrome,as there is no doubt a market for it, But to the average guy that wants a chrome helmet don't think so. Here's innate chrome.
