Can I use automotive paint to do an inner and outer primary? I am getting flooded with work and possible work and this guy wants me to paint the primary and his old painter (since we are in the same unit we are trading work) said regular automotive paint will be just fine. These pieces are chrome and I have never painted over it before. Will regular paint be OK? I understand I need to use epoxy primer after I sand before the paint, but should I BC/CC or should I use a single stage?
