Is there a Time Frame to follow?

Is there a certain time frame that all steps must be done in when doing a complete paint job?

For instance, within how much time should the base color be sprayed after a sealer -or- How much time before clearing over a base, etc.

Is there actually a time frame or is it just dependent on the paint you are spraying?

I don't think I can do a complete job in one day, so how could I break it down to span several days?

im no pro by any means but id check your tech sheets for times depending on your paint primer and base can be applied in one day id do clear the next but give time to dry in suitable temp area your clear will take the longest time if you want it to be done half way nice

The sealer I use says it must be based over within 30min.You can go 24hrs between base and clear but,I wouldn't go that long unless I really had to.Your better off waiting until you have a day to do it all.jim

Talked to a guy at work who has done some painting and he said the same thing.

I just thought it would be nice to spread out the job a little. I'm working 6 days of midnight a week...don't leave you with too much ambition on your one day off!
