I have a 100 dollar sharp gun a friend bought me as a present, it is a conventional gun with a 1.8mm tip. I was wanting to buy a set of guns that devillbiss makes, It is called the startingline kit. It has 3 hvlp guns, One for clearing and base coats that has a 1.3mm and a 1.5mm tip and puts out 13cfm of paint. the second gun is a primer/sealer gun with a 1.8 tip. and the last gun is a mini touch up gun with a 1.0mm tip. The kit is 199.99. Is this kit good for me? I only paint maybe 3 cars a year. what is the difference between hvlp and conventional. I notice I get alot of overspray with my sharp gun, plus im painting outside that doesn't help. In advance thanks for any advice or any suggestions. :moon:
