Hmmmm...I hate to bring bad new, but I think you are going to have to start over. When you run a candy color, the bottom portion of the run will become darker in color. If it was still wet. You might be able to lay it sideways and try to work with it, but I'm sure this would be too late now.

I would also have to question the thickness of the edge on the flames if you have to redo it. Doing to candy flame jobs on top of one another would have a huge edge.

I would suggest buying a faster reducer and also taking more time in between coats. Do the "touch test". Take your finger, touch a piece of tape with the paint on it on one of the parts. Pull your finger back, if the paint is "stringy" it is too early for the next coat, you want the paint to be "tacky", then you will be ready to spray.

Well, if the runs are not *real* base, you might be able to just sand them flat, then dust some base over it, then spray the candy over it again (just the affected areas). You will need to blend both the base and the candy on the flames.

You may have to retape the flames that have runs on it though to keep it from "bridging" across the tape. you'll never get the tape of if you don't

This might be your best bet, especially since you said one side was all right. So I assume that you ony have a couple runs in it?

Without seeing it, I really couldn't tell you.
This might help you though.

Glad you like the stands!
