I have a question for the wise ones here. If I shot a base color on 2 panels, then did one with a Kandy (UK) and one with SG-100 mixed with kandy koncentrate (KK) , what would be the visual difference?
Thanks guys,

I would say that you would not get the same shade. It is extremly hard to even blend candy paints after an accident much less than using two differant types and trying to get it to look the same. When I paint a car/truck with candy for a customer,I always tell them up front the draw backs of using candy paint and it is very possible that a full repaint may be inline if somthing happens it has to be repaired.I am not saying it can not be done but it is very hard and time consuming to do.

Crash,
I understand what you're saying, but that wasn't what I was getting at. Assuming the shade was an exact match, would I see a difference? It's a hypothetical question.
In other words, is there an advantage to shooting a UK over the SG with the intensifier. I did read where the SG isn't designed to provide a high build, but other then that.....

The UK will give a deeper appearance than the SG100 mix.The SG is nicer if you're worried about thickness but you have to mix it strong to stay under the 4 coats.
