hey i was sandind the clear and i broke through in a a spot and its a little discolored can i kandy on top of the clear?

yes you can but that may not help.the problem is that kandy colors are built up with multiple coats(the more coats the ritcher the color).so as you try to rebuild the spot that rubbed through you will be adding more color to the surounding area.i could be wrong but i think you may have to refinish the panal.put the exact number of coats on with the same mixture and air pressure for a correct match.maybe some of the more experienced painters on the sight might have a better answer for you.good luck.cyas

thanks i am actually making the kandy part the flames and painting the rest flat black so I'll probably just stecil around the fade

I've tried touching up kandy, but it didn't work so well, I just re-did the my most recent mistake. Sorry, don't have any good tricks for you.
