How bad is this primer for sucking up moisture?
my old shop truck was coated with dp40 and was thinking of using some dz3 i have had for some time to finsh prime. My biggest worry is there has been so much rain around here and i cant keep the truck inside.

It will. The DP will protect the metal of course.I wouldn't use it though because the reducers now are a little hotter than back in it's day and will probably cause shrinkage and reflow problems.Of course if you're lacquering it it should work fine as long as you can cook out the moisture and protect it before painting.Hell of a good primer in it's day.The only thing I thought was better was Squirly Williams Ultra Fill-P2A43 (can't believe I still remember the #).
