Friend bought a new Honda Shadow, and her husband promptly dumped it within a week of buying it. Put a ding in one corner of the tank. They bought a new tank and gave the old one to me to 'play' with. She liked it, so it's going on her bike.

Here are a couple pictures of a it. PPG products. No pinstripe on the flames...thought a pinstripe might interfere with the 3-D effect I was trying to get with the highlights on the black ovals.

Awesome effect.

Looks like a drip one direction and flames the other. I tried it once and couldn't get it right. I don't think I put the drop shadow on the flames. I will have to try it again. I got both of my bikes started already, maybe I can convince my wife to let me experiment on hers.

That looks great, nice layout and the way you did the shadows and highlites kind of makes an optical illusion, like, which color is on top??
