Latex Mask??

Was watching speed channel (favorite). They had this lady named Laura from AZ painting bikes. Man is she good. Anyways, she was peeling off sheets of what was called Latex Mask. I have used a similiar product on RC car bodies but, gave a bad edge and won't come off in sheets like she was doing. Has anyone come across a product they like that is similiar to this? I know a lot of people don't like products like this and I'm one of them but, if she uses it, then it must be good and I hate taping.

A company called Metalflake makes a sprayable latex mask. I use it and it works great. You do need to thin with water to spray or you can brush it on instead. Goes on blue and dries clear. I know HOK used to make a latex mask but they no longer produce it, don't know why.

quite awhile back i bought pearls from them (metalflake) and if they still operate the same way you'll need to buy direct.

Contact paper (from Wal-Mart) can leave some nasty adhesive residue though. If you are doing a simple mask and it won't be on your part for very long it works well, but I would never leave it overnight, and never let your part get hot (like sit in the sun) while it is on.
