so anyone out there have any tips on making lightning bolts? I would like to but a nice lightning effect on a set of tanks, and so far everything I have tried has turned out pretty shitty.
I am no expert but I have done lightning bolts on a few baseball helmets that turned out well. I set my air pressure at about 12-15 PSI and stay close to the surface and spray a thin erratic line. After that I move back from the surface and spray a thin mist that follows the thin line. It resembles the flash in a cloud. Practice this and maybe it will serve your purpose.
