What kind of skulls are you looking for? Cartoonish? Photorealistic? Biker? Mad? Mischevious? There are a thousand sites with skulls, but you need to give us a hint at what you want...

What I do is draw a skull on a manilla folder, then cut it out with an exacto knife (cut out the skull shape and also the eyes and nose), then I hold it up to the surface I'm painting and dust very lightly some black around it, just enough to leave the shape but no so much that you have a real dark hard edge. Then I come back and freehand the rest. Go around the outline lightly to blend in the light hard edge left by the template, add some shading and fill in the eyes and nose parts. It's pretty easy and by not using someone elses templates you have your very own skulls

I use the skulls for reference. I draw and cut my own stencils out of business card stock (a friend works in a print shop, free paper

Check out some of the tattoo sites. They usually have good reference pics of skulls and tribal artwork.
Craig Fraiser and the guys that he works with are great. They do awesome work and are always helpful with answers to questions from doing T shirts to airplanes. One of them actually gave me some good info on painting an inground pool for my uncle.
