Hi, wondering if anyone can give me some advice, i will be paint Honda Deep Bronze Pearl for the first time this weekend, i am self taught 2 pac painter, i have no problem with solid direct gloss or base and Laq clear coat, but have never sprayed any type of pearl. Can anyone give me the procedure ? Does the pearl come as part of the base or part of the Clear coat ?

Deep Bronze pearl same as what is on a 2008 Honda Civic.

Many thanks for the anticipated Help !

pearls

well there are two ways of going at it. You can get the base with the pearl already in it,or you can put the pearl in the clear. It's a little tricky much like a full candy job. But just make sure you walk the complete the length of the car. Don't do a panel at a time. and don't sand the pearl unless you burry it with a couple coats of clear. Hope this helps.

Actually, if it's just a pearl basecoat/clearcoat, you'll pretty much spray this like you did your solid colors. On the pearls and metallics though, you want to be sure you have gun that atomizes real good and your have your gun settings correct.

had ago over the weekend on a rear spoiler that hasnt yet been fitted, results ok, but not quite a sparkly as the original, seems to be slightly smaller pearl/met.....making the finnish a biot darker, not sure if its the paint or the gun setup.
