ok so i spent all of saturday and a good part of sunday painting the fairings on my bike.
ill post up pics tomorrow so better illustrate my questions.i am using HOK. i have the divilbis finishline gun with a 1.3 tip. ill start from the begining. all the fairings come primed from the factory. i scuffed them all with 600 grit then shot them with HOK KO-seal primer. next i laid down some black on the belly pan and half the upper. still going well, next i shot the lapis blue (love the color, man it pops) for the most part went well. on two small pieces i had really bad wrinkling, what is the main cause of this? i am running a divilbis in line water and oil filter and have the reg set to 28psi at the gun inlet. any ways next i laid down clear, that went well minus a few small runs, i am guessing that just user error layin it on to thick. also layed down a bit of silver white and had wrinkling in one part of that also. is this from not letting it flash long enough between coats?

Most likely it's the sealer wrinkling. If you lay it on thick and you let it sit too long, the new paint will bite into the sealer.
You should have sprayed the the sealer with a couple medium wet coats. Then spray the black base over the complete part. Then at least you would be working with base and not the sealer.

You can sand all the wrinkling out, then repaint your base, but you'll have to work it in so it does not wrinkle on you again.
