I use 3m tape every dayand it is the best, i think. The 1/8" tape is good for flames if you make sue you stick it down good. I used it last weekend on my jetski and i didnt have any problems with it.

I guess I am not sure what you are asking.........

Before the blue fineline, they had some other type, which was a thinner masking tape. I f that is what you are talking about, then it is ok, but if you are talking about regular tape, with the texture on the surface, it will bleed under it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/luck.gif

I think you're talking about the older 3M crepe masking tape.Good stuff but it has to be stuck down well to avoid problems.I think the blue fineline is too thick to work with and likes to shrink on the tight turns so I use the old green fineline.American makes good fineline but I need to find it locally.

REX YOUR RIGHT.I JUST DON'T LIKE BLUE 3M LIKE YOU SAID IT SUCKS IN THE CURVES AND IT SHRINKS. IT'S ALSO HARD TO WORK WITH.I WISH THERE WAS A TAPE THAT IS EASY TO WORK WITH AND DIDN'T BLEED THROUGH AND WOULDN'T LEAVE RESIDUE.THANKS CAJUN /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
