Just wondering how long you can leave the tape on before you shoot it.Have been using the green crepe tape.Took me all day at masking, but it's ready to shoot.Getting a little late in the day. Will it be ok over night.Sorry for some of my silly guestions. Thanks

If you leave it over night the tape will shrink in the turns and leave glue showing. When you spray and remove your tape you will end up with a jagged edge. To avoid that spray as soon as possible after taping. I look real close to my tape edge each time and look for any glue showing and clean it off with Mineral Spirits. I know I talk alot about Mineral Spirits but it has done the job for me for alot of years and it dosen't hurt the base coat or clear.

Thanks Burnt.guess I got lucky. After leaving the tape on over night. Was a little aprehensive.Put the color on this AM
and just finished pulling the tape.Every line was crisp and no bleed through.Sure like that green crepe tape.Apparently HOK uses it,John Kosmoski reccomended it.Said he doesn't use fine line for just the reason you mention. Thanks Again.
