matte no-gloss finish

How do you get a flat no-gloss finish when clearcoating? I know I've seen posts on this in the past, but I couldn't find them. The customer wants a flat black tank.

PPG makes a pre flattened clear. Can't remember the # off hand. You can also add a flattening agent to the clear as well.

how much flattening agent would you add to a quart of clear?

the best way is to do sprayouts to get the amount of non glosee you want , you can vary it as well, i use sikkens and it works excellent
