My first flame job

The truck was my first flame job on an actual vehicle but it was my second try at flames. The go cart was for the Air Force recruiter here "Yes I'm in the Air Force" and he asked me to paint it for him because I paint Aircraft and we have a paint booth. I wasn't too happy with the go cart because I didn't like the colors too much but hey it turned out ok. I really thought the truck turned out really well, my question is the truck used to be black, we painted everything white, the jams, under the hood, everything. How much would you guys charge to paint a truck like this? I have no idea because I just started doing it.

In my area( tuscaloosa, alabama ) a paint job over-all in base coat clear coat would cost about $2000.00.

If the body was straight and it just needed a color change with the flames I'd probably charge around 3K but I'd also pull everything but sheetmetal-windows,rubbers moldngs, etc. If you want the sheetmetal pulled completely apart add a K.It's worth it if you've never painted a car in pieces and put it back together without scratching or chipping the paint-you'll earn it.

I'm stationed at Shaw AFB in S.C., but hopefully I'll be going to depot at Hill soon, I put in my package on Monday so hopefully I'll get it. Anyway I'm in Sheet Metal, what do you do? Thanks for the compliment, and as for the other guy, I've been painting cars for 14 years ever since I was 12. I know how much work it is but I've never done custom painting like this and I have know idea what to charge. I have people ask me all the time to paint there stuff but I don't know what to charge. All the trouble and hard work with this truck I'd think something this size again as a full paint I'd charge at least 2,500 if not more.
