I want to use the DRR reducer from the PPG line because it has a hardner in it. Have any of you tried this reducer with the House Of Color line?

I doubt that would work. I believe the HoK bases are more similar to DBC than DBU, so they're not formulated to use a reactive reducer.
But...I could be wrong.

You can harden DBC bases with DX57, I wonder if that would work with HoK bases?
TILLER I USE PPGs DT REDUCERS IN HOC SHIMRIN PEARLS ALL THE TIME BUT NEVER TRIED DRR. I'M NOT A BIG FAN OF THE DRR REDUCER ,I HAVE HAD SOME SHELF LIFE PROBLEMS WITH IT.
ALSO THE SHIMRIN PEARLS TEND TO STRIPE UP IF NOT SHOT WET ENOUGH ,DONT KNOW IF A REACTIVE REDUCER WOULD CAUSE THEM TO LOCK DOWN TOO FAST AND CAUSE STRIPES OR FLUTTER???
