Need help on 2001 H-D color

I have the back of a new trike I need to paint. The guy said he is sure it is "Luxury Blue". I thought that LB is a metallic. The color on the panel I have is a solid blue. What color code, or name is this? Haven't seen a solid color blue for 2001. It definitely is factory paint and a solid color on all the panels.

Scott, glad you enjoyed your getta way, and glad your back. Luxury Blue is a metallic, as far as i have seen. ppg manufactures Harley factory paint.you might have a Factory "custom " color. i know you said the bike was a 2001, but in 2002 there was an Impact Blue also advalable, as far as if it was a custom factory color good luck Harley will not give you a paint code or will they sell you the paint for their factory colors ( already been threw it with them)if you have a factory part with factory custom paint and you need it repaired, they will repair it for a rediculious amount of money. call your local Dealership see if the can give you the proper name for that color. PPG also has color chip books for Harley if it helps, stock "production" colors only. if all else fails get your hands on your customers front fender and have it analized by your local PPG jobber.

It possibly could be a 2002. I think I will check out that Impact Blue. If that doesn't work, I'll go down the paint supply store and match it.

Hey Scott,glad you made it back safe.This is probably late but if the paint store values you as a customer,they'll come down with the Prophet and print out a formula for the color.
