Need ideas for Ghost Flames

I painted a 74 Monte for a guy,now he wants some sort of ghost flames,The car is jet black.He barely wants to see them,I was thinking a dark blue pearl in clear,or black pearl paint.Anyone have any ideas as to what looks good?Thanks,jim

Jim,
A blue pearl always looks nice. You could always use a very reduced white pearl over the black. Either would look nice and subtle.
If you use an over-reduced straight silver, it usually comes out like a charcoal color, white pearl looks great.

You know...make sure you do a test panel.

Thanks,I just did an over reduced silver mettalic on my blue dodge pick up,came out great,I'm gonna do some test with the white pearl too,jim

Try dupont Number 1004 Blue Pearl Thinned Light mist works great.
