Need IMMEDIATE Help Please

I need to prime and paint a couple of helmets outside and the temp. does not seem to want to get to 60-65 degrees. Would it be possible to set everything up outside, take the helmets out there at room temp, spray them immediately, and heat set them with a blow dryer or heat gun, and bring them back inside before they have a chance to really get cold????
I know it's a long shot, but I really need to get through these prep stages so I can start the mural work and get them to the customer in a timely maner. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

You might be OK doing that, if your primer and hardner has been sitting at room temp all day as well.
How about setting one of those quartz shop lights over them, they put out some heat, and since you're outside you probably won't blow up.

What I would do is have the helmet and paint inside at a little warmer temp, mix the paint and go out and spray them.As soon as you can pick up the helmet take it back inside to dry till the next stage.Should get you going pretty good.

Thanks kevsLX and Rex,
That's exactly what I had in mind. It sounded logical although a little risky. "Desperate times call for desperate measures"
