Greetings everyone,
I'm new to your forums group. I purchased ingersoll rand vertical 5hp air compressor with 60gal tank mfg year 1996. It is presently gray and I would like to paint it the new model color which is a cream color. I'm looking for the color code or a source for the paint. I purchased a gravity feed spray gun which is a hvlp gun. Any help you could give me on locating the enamel paint would be greatly appreciated.

I can't be of much help here. I.R. calls it Off White. Go to your local jobber and get a chart. Look at colors-get it close and bring it to it. Or if you have access to a spectrophotometer you can use that

Welcome,
Wish I could help you out, but I haven't seen a new one in person. You might be able to find a local shop that sells those, then see if they have a small bottle of touchup paint. Then you can take that bottle to a local jobber where they can match the paint.
OR, take a solid color paint chart with you and see if you can match a chip up to the compressor and then order the paint from a local jobber.
