ok, 1st things 1st: what brands of primer/bc/cc are you using? and what color is the primer and bc?did you sand through to body filler or was the entire surface primered? 2 things i can see in the top picture. 1) you could use a sealer over the primer. 2) it look like ya stopped gun travel at the end of the body panel.

i used ppg primer and base and the entire surface was primered and the primer i used doubled as a sealer and i used a constant motion while using the gun so i dont know what happened to cause this to happen

whats the name of the color? almost looks like aluminum. that would look pretty sweet! lookin at the 1st picture, theres no real overspray on the masking paper and theres a wide, narrow stripe on the end of the panel, which tells me gun travel was stopped at the end of the panel and it sat there a split second with the trigger still pulled.i run my gun pass the end of a panel before releasing the trigger, then start the next pass off the panel and move onto it. when shooting paint, overlapping each pass is important, too. i do about a 60-70% overlap of each pass. that is, after one pass, the next pass will have 60-70% of the fan on the last pass. i start panels this way, too. only about 30% of the fan pattern will actually be putting paint on the surface, then work my way down with a 60-70% overlap and finish off the panel the same way.
pressure at the gun( not at the compressor) fan pattern, fluid control setting, distance the gun is from the surface, speed at which the gun is moved, overlapping passes, and something i'm forgetting are all contributing factors in the final outcome.
it is also very wise to practice on a panel( i have an old fender) to get it all working together and see how the products are going to turn out and find/fix any problems then.
