here we go. i do know how to do basic painting(solids&twotones)& i do undersdand the layout of the flames so i dont think taping the flames is where im lost. its more of what kind of airbrush to get & from what im gathering u just spray the edge of the flames on gostflames any help would be good & i do have a aircompresor

Iwata Ecplise with a bottom bottle sounds like the right tool. Also you can do some shading in flames with a good mini spray gun.
