hi everyone i am new here. i am wondering where everyone gets their pearl pigment. i get mine on ebay. is their a cheaper place to get pearl? hope to learn alot. i cant get inot the how to section and i dont know why? :think1:

I get my pearls from PPG as they go with my mixing system haha.

Ebay does have some good deals but you have to watch out and know what you are buying you could be getting ripped off and not even know it.

You might try locally. Like Wydir said, you never know what you'd be getting over ebay. You could be buying 16 oz, only to find out that someone put somesort of base clear (interclear) in it and you are actually end up overall buying 6 oz.

Agree about Ebay, you might not be getting the right materials. I used to buy mine from Seelig Custom Paint, Sid Moses was the man in charge, but I heard he recently passed away. He had more selection of pearl pigments (and other stuff) than any one else in the biz. At least he did when I first started looking for a supplier, long time ago. Maybe someone else took his business over???
