Have just tried a new tape,a least new to me.It's from the Netherlands.Available from Innate Technologies. It's half the mill thickness of blue fineline. You can get this stuff to turn on a dime.Absolutely no creep back or adhesive transfer. It's the best stuff I've ever used.Sure reduces the paint edge to.

Re: New Masking Tape THANKS !!!

Hi Brian,
I took your advice and ordered a roll of the 1/8" tape from Innate. It's all you said and more! I love this stuff.
When I first opened the box, I fished thru all the other stuff I ordered until I found the tape, pulled it out of the bag and immediately tried a tight turn on the box. I wasn't even trying hard and the turn was so tight and so perfectly round. This is by far the best stuff I've used.
Thanks very much for bringing this to our attention.
Much appreciated,
Phil

What's the URL. I tried both listed, and they seem to be invalid.

THanks....

This is an old thread, but a good thread. I believe the German Tape that is being referred to is an 'orange tape'.
Haven't ever used any 3/4" fineline. Normally for that, I just border the edges with 1/8", then just fill it in.

Hi Scott, this tape is yellow, and made in the Netherlands. This is far the best I've used, you can mask around a dime with it and it will stay there for weeks with no creep back or residue transfer. I have heard good things about the orange tape you are refering to,but must admit I've never used it. The Colad tape as it's called is available from Innate. www.innate.com Cheers.

Thanks Brian! I'll have to check it out. Retail on the 3M 1/16" is over $11 a roll now
