New paint job

OK, well we finally had some nice weather and I was able to spray my base color of 2008 Ford Orange Crush and then I sprayed the Mother-of-Pearl tint. I like it, but it looks a little mauve/pinkish. Can I put another tint over it to bring out a little more orange? Did I add too much of the Mother-of-Pearl and that is why it turned out on the pink side?

Anytime you put pearl over a color, it will completely change it. Since you planned on just adding another tint over the paint to change the shade, you might as well just rebase and reclear without the pearl.

Here's what I thought when I first saw your photo, looks good must be for a girls bike, sorry about that but I'm just being honest.

Really hard to tell from the pics, but from what I see, it almost reminds me of an old Ford color available back in the late '80s that was a red with some pearl in it. Some angles it looks more like a red, and the other it had a pinkish/bluish look to it.
A quick scuff...a few fresh coats of the base, then clear will take care of everything.

maybe a beer or three ???

i will do that with the fender, already stripped the tank down to bare. I will start over and just do the base then clear.
