im new to painting i plan on do my chopper myself and woullld like to ppaint flame what kinds of paint would be good for me i want a dark blue with brite yellllow flames

previous posts throughout this site will give plenty of good info.
the type of paint should be a 2pack basecoat/clearcoat system for the best results.
this wont be cheap but if done right it will last for years and years.

I agree,bc/cc.The blue is personal choice but for a solid yellow the old Chrome Yellow is an old favorite,and I like the Dodge Viper yellow too.Go to an established paint store.They should have color books that go back into the 60s.The imports get some nice colors too.If you really don't want to spend alot of time looking go through a House of Color book first.They have a great selection but stay away from the Neons (or whatever it is that glows in the dark),the sun destroys them fast.If you're into that look there's another way but it won't glow in the dark.
