I got my Walcom Slim 1.3 mm a few weeks ago. Early Christmas present to myself. Used it just a little, but so far a nice gun. Had a problem, but it was all operator error. Hooked the empty gun up to the compressor and adjusted the air pressure on the gauge to 28.6 (or whatever it is they recommend...there's a little mark on the gauge) and then filled it with paint and sprayed. It came out with lots of orange peel. Hmmmmm. Twisted all the knobs this way and that way...same problem. Thought to look at the pressure gauge while spraying with paint IN the gun, and the pressure was drastically lower! Adjusted it so the pressure was 28.6 while actually spraying paint and it worked great. I didn't realize that the pressure varied with/without paint in the thing. All I can say about that is "Duh."

Absolutely wonderful with PPG Stratoclear 2082 clear coat. Needs very little buffing compared to my generic HVLP.
