Newbie painting and RC glider

Hi there,

at last somewhere to ask questions!!!

I'm painting an RC glider with Auto Air acrylics - I'm new to the whole airbrush'spraying thing.

Having never sprayed pearlescents before I'm a little panicked by the extremely rough finish. Is this normal, or should it be flatted in some way before clearing, or do you rely on multiple coats of clear to get the finish?

Here's a pic of the job so far...

kind regards

Julian

If Its A Base Coat You Should Be Able To Go Rite To Clear.if You Sand Or Scuff Pad Base Coats With Pearls Or Metalics You Will Disturb Them And Rub Marks Will Show Bigtime.2-3 Coats Of Clear Should Sufice.remember This Stuff Waighs And To Much Might Effect Flying Characteristics.good Luck
