Newbie with a bunch of stupid questions!

Hi all!

I have been wanting to learn how to do my own paint so have a few basic questions that have probably been asked a million times already!

I am planning to set up a booth in my garage to do motorcycle parts.

1. What would be the minimum for a compressor? I see Harbor Freight has a few that seem reasonable

2. I would like to mix some basic solid colors with maybe some light flake, flames, pinstripes etc. what is generally a good type and brand of paint.

3. Does anyone have any suggestions on a batter than average gun, I have heard pros and cons about the set that Harbor Freight sells

4. Does anyone have a company that they can get most of the materials from? I have a few Eastwood catalogs and it seems they have a lot of cool stuff!

>>>Steve I would recommend a 5HP, but you need to pay attention to the SCFM of the compressor and the total your spray gun and tools will use.
