i am getting back into some custom bike painting after about a 3 year leave. when i was 18 and fresh out of highschool all i shot was ppg. i never had a problem and loved the omni line of cheap stuff for my cheap buddies. But, i am trying to be a little more serious and really want to get into doing some graphics and candies. everyehere i look people say to use hok for the biggest and best " custom " line. i hate the idea of mixing mfg's product so i'd like to use all hok from primer to clear. i have looked and looked and cannot understand what primer to use. i will be doing some " fresh " metal up custom work and some " refinish " style work over factory paint and maybe some putty. any ideas on what primer would be best. i guess what throws me off is the *epoxy*. every ppg epoxy sands like crap. maybe im missing something.

thanks in advance for ur help

I've used the KP2CF on a few things, haven't used other brands of epoxy primer so cant compare but didn't have any problems sanding. Does need to cure for 14hrs though.
