on a budget, what is the best equipment for the money?

I can access a compressor any day of the week, but what kind of gun do I buy for clear coat, base coat system and is this the cleanest way to go about setting up in my own garage? Or can it be done outside?

Will only be painting a set of metal for my bike and will be matching the paint with the frame color that has been powdercoated?

Metalic is the powdercoating.

I have seen these paint set ups that are fan driven and are self contained. are they worth the 500 bucks? Mike
