Paint came off with tape

Hi,

As I was removing the tape (3M green) a spot of paint around the size of a dime came off. Right down to the metal. What would be the best way to repair this. I was thinking I'd just smooth the edges then use my air brush.to spray the primer, sealer, and the black base. Does that sound about right.

Thats exactly how i do small repairs on custom paint jobs. You might have a problem with the primer in an airbrush try a detail gun if you have one if not you may have to reduce the primer a bit for the airbrush

Thats a bummer for sure, but it happens.. it happened to me... I fixed the area, and you can hardly tell...... Fix it..... Mac
