Paint code help

I was asked to paint some hard saddle bags for a friends 2005 Yamaha RoadStar , its 2 tone Met. Black and Pearl white. Now he found a website called color rite and they have paint code numbers for bikes and such , and it looks as if I need 903 Black met. and 390 Bluish white cocktail , now what I would like to know is if anyone here knows how to convert those numbers into a PPG , or DuPont or any other type of paint manufacturer #. I have tried a PPG dealer here and they basically told me they dont have bike colors , Seemed like the guy was just trying to blow me off because I was not a regular customer. My shop deals with S/Williams and they dont have any kind of cross over #. ANyone know what I can do ?

New member
Your local automotive paint dealer should be able to match any color you bring in with PPG. They normaly require a day to do so. Good Luck......Mo
