paint codes

Where can I find the paint codes for motorcycles? The bike is three different colors(red, silver, black). Are the codes on the bike frame, or do I need to contact a dealer to get the codes? Thanks for any help.

Good luck with getting codes from a manufacturer. It isn't like a car, where the codes are public.

Do you have the colour name, year, make and model of the bike? I have access to paint codes and formula's of the various codes...may be able to help...may not, depends what info you have.

If you have a metric bike, sometimes you can find the code under the side cover. If it's a H-D, you can sometimes find a label with at least one of the colors on the underside of a fender.

If you have a Honda, sometimes those 2nd colors are actually tape graphics that look painted.
