Paint guns!

Here we are again with paint guns. When I started painting last year I bought a cheap hvlp astra paint gun. It seemed to work ok but I out grew it really quick and bought a Devilbiss finishline II. What a difference!!! Now I feel I'm starting to outgrow this one. I'm looking at the devilbiss GTi Millennium. I've found it as low as $295.00. Its alot of money! Is there that big of a difference between the guns? Will I see a $200 improvement? I really don't want to wast my money but I really want to improve my paint.

I DO BELIEVE THERE IS A DIFFERENCE
LIKE COMPARING A MERCEDES BENZ TO A LADA.

For the most part you will get what you pay for.Once you get over the $350-400 mark you probably wont notice such a great improvement but the quality does get better.I still can't bring myself to get off $500 for a Sata.

If you're interested in the Sata, a lot of people sell them new outright on eBay, no bidding required. The Sata NR2000 gravity-feed HVLP with the LCD digital regulator in the handle goes for about $369 most days. I've started with the $99 Sears HVLP gun, which is really just a re-badged Devilbiss Finishline Series One. I'm really not interested in slowly progressing through a series of guns, so will probably jump to the Devilbiss 620G ($289 on eBay) or the Sata in the next year or so. Granted, $290 or $370 is a good chunk of money, but it's a heck of a lot lower than MSRP, and either gun would probably be the last you would need to buy.</cr>

Thanks... I'm on ebay quite a bit and I found a guy selling a Devibiss GTi 620-G for $230.00. It's not the Millennium but I guess you can upgrade. I going to give it try.
