Getting ready to paint my bike. The bike has good paint on it now , no scratches or dents etc. Can I prep the surface by scuffing /or sanding and apply base color over this ? If so what grit is recommended
wash thoroughly first. then use a wax and grease remover.
yes, you can scuff/sand and apply paint over.check the tech sheet for the paint being used to find out what is recommended. it will probably be 400-600 grit.
