I seen a few postes that had to do with treating runs, Have any of you ever used or heard of a run razor. I seen one in an eastwood catalog. Worth the money? How and when are they used?

i ve had a couple of them, actually i think mine were called a run file, but anyways same thing, very good tool especially for large runs, simply hold tool flat and run over the run area, it will sliver the run off, go down to almost flat then wet sand and polish.

The 'nib file' is definately the better of the 2,the razor can dig in and take out a chunk if adjusted wrong or used aggressively. Both will screw you on a large dirtnib if it gets a good grab and pulls it clean out to the base or sealer it's in.There's a thread burried in here about shaving with a razor by hand that works the best but that's one thing I make you guys hunt for,it's kind of a secret and alot don't know it but if you find it it'll save you a few redo's.
