paint thining

new guy here.i have paint i got from "MAB" and i plan on using a devilbiss plus gun(i just got it and would like your opinions on it)when i bought the paint the salesman said to follow instructions on can for thining but they only show instructions for airless spray gun.i have paint and primer and would like any tips on thining for use in my spray gun.thanks for any and all help

I wish I could help you. I've never heard MAB paint (probably not avail in FL). I looked them up and found their website, but I get a "Service Unavailable".
Not for sure what the ratio would be or even what you would reduce or thin it with.

the paint is called "rust o lastic". MAB is Sherwin williams or vice versa.the salesman told me to use xylol to thin and the can said to thin 3% by volume for airless sprayer.that doesn't seem that it would be enough for my gun.i hope this helps.

Sorry, don't know anything about the xylol to mix with the MAB. Almost sounds like a house paint if it's for a airless sprayer.
Don't know though.
