Paint with out a booth

How important is it to have a paint booth? I plan to flame my truck and Harley eventually, but just have the average garage to work in.

Do a search for 'garage paint booth' and you'll find a couple of threads on homemade paint booths. Some are pretty simple and others are more elaborate. You can probably get away with just keeping the floor clean and wetting the surface before painting (to keep the dust down).
