Painting a fade

Blend it out like any spot repair, you just need to run a nice straight pass on the blend edge. Some say it's easier to put the darker over the lighter and vice-versa,but I haven't done but a few.I do like to have a gun with each color I'm working with so if I screw up I can grab the other and correct it.You may have to thin it down a little extra (or clear it down) if the blend edge looks too coarse. That all depends on how well your gun breaks up the base.I can't tell you anything about Satas.

I want to do a 'fade' of red-orange to yellow fluoresent over a chrome yellow base before
clearing. What is the best techinque for this.
I will be using a SATA mini-jet II with PPG Deltron enamal.

Thanks in advance
